3781010 - Down payment settlement posting fails with "No price condition for dp settlement found" - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

When posting a billing document for down payment settlement within the down payment processing scenario, the error "Can't create journal entry: No price condition for DP settlement found" occurs. And the posting status indicates: "Journal entry not created (error in down payment register)."

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

Pricing procedure used (eg: Y17J01) does not include the condition types DDPR and DDPS. These two condition types are intended for the ADP scope item 7S7_US. 

Resolution

Activate the scope item 7S7 in the system.
