How to purge field values from Candidate Snapshot in job application?

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Run the purge inactive job application job
  2. After completion, observe that job application field values are purged, but some Candidate Snapshot fields still display values
  3. Confirm that these fields are set to anonymize=true in the candidate profile template

Cause

The purge inactive job application job only purges fields set to anonymize=true in the job application template; fields defined only in the candidate profile template are not purged.

Resolution

  1. Add the same field to the job application template. 
  2. Set the field attribute anonymize=true in the job application template.
  3. Run the purge inactive job application job again, review 3189664 for more detail steps.
