3781176 - Adjusted Service Date Is Automatically Populated with the New Hire Date During Onboarding Personal Data Collection

Symptom

  • Adjusted service date field is getting defaulted as the new hire date.
  • The field should be null instead of being auto-populated.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Move a candidate from Recruiting Management to Onboarding.
  2. Open the Personal Data Collection step.
  3. Observe that the Adjusted Service Date is automatically populated with the new hire date.

Resolution

This is the current system behavior. The Adjusted Service Date cannot be modified or defaulted to null during the Onboarding Personal Data Collection step.

An onInit business rule configured on the Employment Information model to default the Adjusted Service Date to null does not take effect in the Onboarding Personal Data Collection user interface.
