3781266 - Site Blocked for Planning Used as a Source in Stock Transfer Proposal

A Planning Area is used as a source of supply in Stock Transfer Order proposal even though the Site is blocked for planning in Material Master Data.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Supply Planning work center
2. Go to Products view.
3. Search for Product AAA Planning Area BBB.
4. Choose Open
5. Choose Run Planning and select Single BOM Level.
6. A Stock Transfer Proposal is created with source as CCC.
   
   
7. Go to Product Portfolio wok center.
8. Go to By Materials sub view under Products view.
9. Search for the Product AAA.
10. Choose Edit.
11. Go to Planning tab.
12. The Planning Area CCC is in Blocked status.

(AAA represents the Product ID, BBB represents the Ship-to planning area, CCC represents the Ship-from Planning Area)

Blocking a site from planning prevents creating purchase and production proposals for that site but does not prevent using this site as a source for stock transfer proposals if a valid transport lane exists.
