3781355 - Invalid locales are not migrated during JDM to JPB migration (JDMInvalidLocaleExistenceCheck) - Job Description Manager

Symptom

When running the Check Tool for Job Description manager under Migration tab, there are issues for the "Invalid english_DEBUG associated during JDM to JPB Migration Review." check.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Job Profile Builder 

SAP SuccessFactors Job Description Manager

Cause

There are competencies, families, roles in the system created with english_DEBUG locale. 

Resolution

There are two possible solutions available. 

Quick Fix is available. 

OR

Correct issue with import: 

  1. Login to SuccessFactors 
  2. Follow the steps in Implementing and Managing Job Profile Builder - Exporting Your Job Profile Data Using Manage Job Profile Content Import/Export and export Family, Role and Competency Data
  3. Navigate to Admin Center > Scheduled Job Manager
  4. Locate the MDF Data Export job and select View Details
  5. Click on Download Status to download the file
  6. Check english_DEBUG translation 
  7. Remove english_DEBUG translation and save
  8. Follow the steps in Implementing and Managing Job Profile Builder - Importing New Job Profile Content Using Manage Job Profile Content Import/Export to remove English Debug entries. 

NOTE: In case import validation fails, make sure that competencies are not associated to any other entity (role, job profile). Make sure to refresh check to ensure it is green.
