3781613 - "Get Started with GenAI" Pop-Up or "Activate AI" Button Appears in Admin Center

Symptom

When accessing Admin Center in SuccessFactors, administrators may experience one or both of the following:

  • A "Get Started with GenAI" pop-up is displayed.
  • An "Activate AI" button is visible and can be selected.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to SuccessFactors with a user that has administrator permissions.
  2. Navigate to Admin Center.
  3. Observe that either:
    A "Get Started with GenAI" pop-up appears, or
    An "Activate AI" button is displayed.

Cause

This behavior is expected by design. The "Get Started with GenAI" pop-up and "Activate AI" button are part of the new WalkMe Administrator Tour content. These elements were introduced to help raise awareness of SuccessFactors AI capabilities and guide administrators through AI feature enablement.

Resolution

When an administrator selects the "Activate AI" button, the corresponding WalkMe guided tour for AI enablement should be launched.

Important Notes: 

  • It is not possible to disable the "Activate AI" button independently, as it is part of the standard WalkMe content experience and is directly tied to the WalkMe functionality.
  • To prevent WalkMe pop-ups from appearing for non-administrator users, disable the WalkMe feature under Configure Digital Adoption Platforms.
  • If WalkMe content continues to appear for administrators, review Company System and Logo Settings admin tool and disable the "Display WalkMe Content for Administrators" option.
  • WalkMe content delivered to administrator pages is managed independently and may be displayed even when end-user WalkMe content is disabled.
