3781690 - Previous overhead postings are reversed after changing the cost element in cumulative overhead calculation

Cumulative overhead calculation is executed for an order or WBS element, for example using transaction KGI2 or CJ44.

After the overhead cost element is changed between two cumulative calculation runs, the system:

• Reverses the overhead previously posted with the original cost element.
• Posts the newly calculated cumulative overhead amount with the current cost element.

The expected result may be to retain the previous overhead postings on the original cost element and post only the retroactive adjustment to a different cost element.

A similar result may occur when other posting characteristics, such as the cost center, origin group, or functional area, are changed between cumulative calculation runs.
