Pricing and tax conditions are not determined as expected when creating a 'Billing Document Request' via the 'External Billing Document Request (EBDR)' template in 'Manage Billing Document Requests' app.

1. Upload and create a 'Billing Document Request' using the 'External Billing Document Request' spreadsheet template.
2. Observe that pricing and tax conditions are not determined.
3. Create a manual 'Debit Memo Request' for a comparable scenario and note that tax conditions are automatically applied.
4. Compare the behavior regarding region consideration in manual processing versus the spreadsheet template.

Required tax classification fields 'PRODUCTTAXCLASSIFICATION' and 'CUSTOMERTAXCLASSIFICATION1' were not maintained in worksheet 'IT_EBDR_REQUEST' of the spreadsheet import.

To ensure that the required tax information is available for tax condition determination, proceed as follows:

1. Generate and download the latest External Billing Document Request template from the 'Manage Billing Document Requests' app.
2. Open worksheet IT_EBDR_REQUEST in the downloaded template.
3. Maintain the following fields for each relevant item:
   • CUSTOMERTAXCLASSIFICATION1.
   • PRODUCTTAXCLASSIFICATION.
4. Ensure the maintained values align with the customer and material tax setups required for tax condition determination.
5. Save the file and upload it again to create the External Billing Document Request.
6. Verify that pricing and tax conditions are now determined as expected.
