3781776 - SAP Business ByDesign 2605 Hotfix Collection 3 Information

Symptom

Following is the list of fixes* delivered with the Hotfix collection 3 performed in 2605 release of SAP Business ByDesign.   

The Hotfix collection is planned to be deployed to tenants during the respective planned maintenance window on/after the 18th of July 2026. Please check the planned maintenance downtime window of your tenant from the Service Control Centre.

Financial Management

Tax

  • Created a new tax rate type for the Canada PST at 10% (Hotfix ID: 1000042790)
  • Austria reduces the Value Added Tax (VAT) rate for essential foods. (Hotfix ID: 1000041942)
  • Replace Form 16A with Form 131 for India withholding tax returns. (Hotfix ID: 1000042681)
  • Created new tax codes 41, 517, and 17 with tax events 10, 310, and 100 respectively. The new tax boxes 124B, 124T, 125B, and 125T appear in the Austria VAT return. The XML attachment displays the values 124B, 124T, 125B, and 125T. (Hotfix ID: 1000041823)
  • We updated the IL 856 to meet the new legal requirement. We also added two new fields in the UI. You can use these fields to add additional tax amounts for fields 17a and 17b. (Hotfix ID: 1000042400)

Invoicing

  • For India, you must include the ship to Goods and Services Tax Identification Number (GSTIN) in the customer invoice JSON and print form. (Hotfix ID: 1000040608)

  • An updated patch for Adobe LiveCycle Designer (ALD) is now available for download from the Download Center in SAP Business ByDesign. (Hotfix ID: 1000041266)
  • PSM release: The Transformation field on the Document Output History Item node is now available for read (query) access.  (Hotfix ID: 4500032155)

Address Management

  • Corrected RegionCodeText in Organizational Management OData: The RegionCodeText returned by the OrgUnitCollection OData service (with AddressInformation expanded) is now correctly resolved based on the country of the address. Previously, the text could be picked from another country sharing the same region code (for example, AZ returning "Abū Z̧aby" instead of "Arizona"). (Hotfix ID: 1000039576)
  • The following region codes have been added in line with the latest ISO updates and are now available in SAP Business ByDesign.
    Greece (GR) – Region codes: 69, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M
    Liechtenstein (LI) – Region Codes: 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11

 Concur Integration

  • ByDesign Concur integration has been enhanced to correctly process the Concur API response even when the order of tags/fields in the response changes. This resolves failures that previously occurred due to changes in the Concur API tag sequence. (Hotfix ID: 1000039436)

My Launchpad 

  • The Shopping Cart tile has been reintroduced in My Launchpad. In addition, an issue has been resolved that previously prevented shopping carts in In Preparation status from being deleted via My Launchpad → Shopping Carts. Users can now delete such shopping carts directly from My Launchpad, consistent with the behavior in Self-Services Overview in the Homework center. (Hotfix ID: 4500031226)
