Symptom
In SAP API Management, when creating a custom chart under Analyze > Custom View with a filter applied to a specific Application or API Proxy, the chart cannot be saved if the filtered object has no analytics data. This occurs when the Application or API Proxy has never been used to invoke an API.
The following message is displayed:
"Data unavailable. There is currently no data available to display here."
While this message is displayed, clicking the Save button produces no action. No error message is shown and the chart is not saved. This behavior is consistent across all Applications and API Proxies that have not yet generated any analytics records.
This affects deployment workflows where custom monitoring views need to be prepared in advance on a production tenant before go-live, as the Applications have not yet been invoked at that stage.
