Treemap data labels missing for some segments in stories in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

SAP Analytics Cloud 2026.8.10

1. Log in to the SAC
2. Open a story that contains a treemap chart

Notice : One or more treemap segments do not display their labels.

• This behavior is working as designed for treemap charts.
• Treemap data labels have a length constraint and wrap only at whitespace boundaries; if a label contains a long, unbroken word and the cell becomes too narrow to fit any one word, the entire label is hidden.

1. Increase the treemap cell width or resize the chart to allow the label to fit. 
2. Shorten the dimension member name to avoid long unbroken words.
3. Optionally clear the "Avoid data label overlap" setting in the Styling panel to allow label overflow; this may cause the label to exceed the treemap cell boundary.
4. Reduce the data label font size in the chart’s Styling panel.
