3782079 - CAR: Error "Element PARENTDRAFTUUID missing in the entity /OAA/C_NET_SOURCE (DRAFT_CONNECTED)" occurs after CARAB upgrade

Symptom

  • An error occurs during the post-upgrade task SAP_FIORI_FCM_CONTENT_ACTIVATION.
  • Error message: "Element PARENTDRAFTUUID missing in the entity /OAA/C_NET_SOURCE (DRAFT_CONNECTED)"
  • Manually activating the relevant OData service results in the same error.
  • OData metadata cannot be loaded; errors are visible in /IWBEP/ERROR_LOG.
  • When trying to activate the service F2530_MSN_SRV the following error occurs:

    Metadata not loaded - See /IWBEP/ERROR_LOG in
    backend 'LOCAL' - Element PARENTDRAFTUUID missing
    in the entity /OAA/C_NET_SOURCE
    (DRAFT_CONNECTED)./C_NET_SOURCE
