3782213 - "Accept Match" option is not displayed for Internal Hires in Manage Pending Hires - Employee Central

When accessing Manage Pending Hires and selecting an Internal Hire candidate, the "Accept Match" option is not available.

Instead, only the following actions are displayed:

• Rehire with New Employment
• Internal Recruit

Expected behavior.

• Accept Match button is only available for terminated (inactive) employees and it will not be displayed for users who are still active in the system.
• An Internal Hire is defined as an active employee applying for another open position within the company. Since the employee is still active, the Accept Match logic does not apply.
• For Internal Hires, the process instead creates a new Job Information record for the employee upon completion of the hiring process, preserving existing employee data such as compensation details. 

If the requirement is to rehire the employee under the same employment, select "Internal Recruit" in the pop-up match.
