3782339 - In Latest People Profile, Address Fields are always required in Emergency Contact Information

After enabling the Latest People Profile (PPX), the Emergency Contact Information UI displays Address fields as mandatory.

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile - Latest People Profile
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Personal Information

1. Navigate to Full profile for an employee
2. Open Personal Data > Go to Emergency Contact Information
3. Click edit and add details.
4. Observe that the Home Address section appear as mandatory.

• This is currently a limitation in the Latest People Profile. 
• This is planned to be enhancned in 1H 2027 release
• Please refer to this Enhancement reference and contact your CSM/CEE to track the progress - ECT-275447

Workaround

• Temporarily disable the option "Enable the latest Editing and History UI for Employee Central HRIS entities on Full Profile (Except Compensation Information)" in Configure Latest People Profile.
