• Automatic form launch does not occur for future-dated hires.
• Automatic form launch works for current-dated hires.
• Example scenario observed: a user hired on one day with a future hire date did not receive an automatically launched performance form.

• SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

1. Configure automatic performance form launch for hires via scheduled processes.
2. Create or update a user with a future-dated hire record.
3. Run the relevant scheduled jobs on/after the expected date.
4. Observe that no performance form is created for the future-dated hire.

• The Employee Central business rule used by Off Cycle Event Batch was not enabled under Job Information in Manage Business Configuration, so the batch job did not evaluate the user.
• The Job Information “Hire Date” field configuration/data did not align with the off-cycle run criteria (for example, field disabled, empty, or the hire date did not match the off-cycle run date), preventing the user from being picked up.

1. Enable the EC rule on Job Information:
2. Go to Manage Business Configuration and open Job Information.
3. Ensure the business rule for Off Cycle Event Batch is attached/enabled under Job Information and saved.
4. Configure the rule for future-dated scenarios:
5. Create a business rule with scenario “Trigger Event for Off Cycle Event Batch.”
6. Replace any “event reason equals Hire” check with conditions:

• Job Information.Hire Date equals Today, and
• Employment Status is Active.

1. Save and deploy the rule.
2. Validate the Job Information “Hire Date” field:
3. Ensure the Hire Date field is enabled and populated correctly in BCUI.
4. Confirm the hire date equals the intended Off Cycle Event Batch run date (consider instance time zone) and that the record is the current active record at run time.
5. Run the Off Cycle Event Batch:
6. Schedule or run the Off Cycle Event Batch on the hire date so it evaluates the rule and marks users eligible.
