3782360 - Billing document creation shows very long runtime for some sales documents while others finish quickly

• During billing document creation for sales documents with approximately 10,000 line items, some executions take over 24 hours while others with similar volume finish in about 20 minutes.
• In long-runtime cases, ABAP trace shows SELECT SINGLE on table FPLT consumes about higher time for example 91.2% of total time with ~1.6 million calls for roughly 800 billing plan items; function module SD_DOWNPAYMENT_READ is called.
• In short-runtime cases, SD_DOWNPAYMENT_READ is not called and the massive SELECT SINGLE FPLT calls do not occur.
