Symptom

  • In S/4HANA, when a sales order is created or changed with reference to a preceding document, the internal table XVBAP holds items from both the target sales order and the source document (e.g. quotation).
  • In ECC, XVBAP contained the target sales order items, leading to different behavior in custom logic (for example, in include MV45AFZZ) when comparing ECC and S/4HANA.
