3782853 - Manage Documents Export Anomalies: Null Category/Entity Fields and CSV Count Discrepancy

• An error occurs when attempting to extract the full list of documents via the Manage Documents admin screen.
• The extraction process fails to retrieve complete metadata and generates corrupted/incomplete reports.
• Data omission: the output file returns null values for both the Doc Category and Doc Entity fields across the data set.
• Data mismatch: the total document count in the extracted output file does not match the document count displayed in the Manage Documents UI.
• No specific error message or error code is provided.

Product: SAP SuccessFactors Platform

1. Navigate to Manage Documents in the admin UI.
2. Start an export of the document list (for example, CSV to SFTP or direct download).
3. Review the exported file and observe that Doc Category and Doc Entity are null for many records.
4. Compare the total records in the exported file with the total shown in the Manage Documents UI and observe a mismatch.
5. Optionally apply entity filters or split exports by document size to see that counts further diverge from the UI totals.

Known product defect in the Manage Documents export leading to metadata omission and count discrepancies at scale; this is addressed by a Platform Patch.

• Fixed under patch included in the July 30 release.
• No customer action required beyond updating to/being on the July 30 patch.
• After the patch is applied, re-run Manage Documents export; null Category/Entity fields and CSV count mismatches should be resolved.
• If the anomaly persists post-patch, open a support ticket with timestamp, Company ID, environment (Prod/Preview), sample document IDs, and the exported CSV attached.
