3782864 - T-code AJAB Year-End Closing Lists Only One Asset for Error AU083 After Upgrade to S/4HANA 2020 or Later

Symptom

  • After upgrading your system from a release prior to S/4HANA 2020 (e.g., 1809) to S/4HANA 2020 or a newer release, you observe a change in behavior when running the fiscal year-end closing (T-code AJAB). When incomplete assets exist in the company code, the AJAB log now displays an error for only a single asset, instead of listing all assets with issues.
  • The error message is shown: Asset &1-&2 in company code &3 is incomplete (Message no. AU083)
