Symptom
The address displayed in the Payment Advice document appears in a different language than the form output language. For example, when the form is generated in English, the address content appears in Dutch.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Maintain a Business Partner with an address in a language different from the intended form output language (e.g., Dutch).
- Run a payment via the Manage Automatic Payments app and generate the Payment Advice with output language set to English.
- Observe that the address in the Payment Advice appears in the Business Partner language rather than the form output language.
Cause
The address content in the Payment Advice is fetched directly from the Business Partner master data. The language used in the address follows the language maintained in the BP, not the output language of the form. This is standard system behavior and is not configurable to follow the form language.
Additionally, if the sender country and the recipient country differ, the system appends an additional line containing the country description. This is also expected behavior.
Resolution
No configuration change is required. The address language in the Payment Advice reflects the language maintained in the Business Partner master data. To display the address in a different language, update the language settings in the BP master data accordingly.
The address displayed in the PDF output is consistent with the Print Preview in the BP master data, which can be used to verify the expected output.
