3782934 - Inspection lot is created for plant-to-plant stock transfer with inspection type 08 - SAP s/4hana cloud public edition

• Inspection lot has been created with Inspection type 08 even the movement types 101 with stock transfer posting indictor QM is deactivated.
• IOT 5 is enabled.
• When Code CRID in Warehouse (WM) an inspection lot for WM managed stocks is created with inspection type 08 and also if booking in IM from free to q-stock an inspection lot is created.
• The inspection type 08 is also always triggered when performing stock transfer plant to plant and booking the goods receipt for this stock transfer purchase order. This is not expected.

 SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create a plant-to-plant stock transfer using a stock transport purchase order with the receiving storage location managed by Cloud Warehouse Management.
2. Post the goods receipt for the inbound delivery of the stock transfer.
3. Observe that an inspection lot of type 08 is created although the QM movement type settings for 101 with stock transfer indicator are deactivated.

• By current system design, deactivation of QM movement types does not impact inspection lot creation in Cloud Warehouse Management.
• When inspection type 08 is maintained for the product and the receiving storage location is Cloud WM managed, an inspection lot is always created, including for goods receipt postings of plant-to-plant stock transfers.

1. Acknowledge current system behavior: There is no configuration in Public Cloud to selectively suppress inspection lot creation in Cloud WM based on QM movement type settings for this scenario.
2. Optional workaround (development): Implement BAdI BADI_INSPLOT_PLAN_ASSIGNMENT to skip inspection plan assignment for the relevant stock transfer GR scenario so stock becomes available without manual usage decision effort.
3. Operational workaround (no development): Use the app “Manage Usage Decisions” to record usage decisions in mass for inspection lots created during plant-to-plant stock transfer goods receipts.
4. If selective deactivation is required as a product capability, submit a request via the Customer Influence portal.
