Symptom

  • Activating LIS update program RMCX0003 with “Unicode Checks Active” fails with: “The sum of the offset and length (=235) exceeds the length of the character-like header (=76) of the structure. This is not permitted in Unicode programs.”
  • Dump PERFORM_TOO_MANY_PARAMETERS is occurring during attempted execution of program RMCX0003 in tcode VA02.
