3783013 - Business role/user price category updated when IAM Apps are directly assigned in Maintain Business Roles - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2608

Starting with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2608, the IAM Apps that are directly assigned to a business role will impact the price category calculation.

• The price category displayed for a business role in the Maintain Business Roles app will not reflect the highest price category among all assigned business catalogs.
• The IAM app with a higher price category directly assigned to a business role will determine the business role price category.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2608

In Maintain Business Roles application:

1. Assign a business catalog with price category "Self-Service" to a business role.
   
   • Under the "Business Catalogs" tab: note the "Price Category" column.
2. Assign an IAM app with price category "Advanced" to the same business role (Direct assignment).
   • Under the "IAM Apps" tab: note the "Price Category" column is not displayed by default, but it can be added using the "View Settings" of the IAM Apps table.
3. Open the Maintain Business Roles app and observe the displayed price category for the business role.
   1. With SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2602, the price category of the role was "Self-Service"
   2. As of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2608, the price category of the role is "Advanced"

The price calculation for a business role/user is determined based on assigned business catalogs and IAM Apps (Direct assignment).
