3783026 - The unexpected rounding occurs during currency conversion - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

When creating a sales document or billing document, unexpected rounding occurs if the currency conversion is applied.

This article describes how the condition value of the condition type is calculated for the currency conversion scenario.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Resolution

In the configuration activity "Set Condition Types for Pricing":

  • If the checkbox "Currency Conversion" is ticked, the system converts the condition value into the document currency after multiplication. 
  • If the checkbox "Currency Conversion" is not ticked, the system converts the condition value into the document currency before multiplication. 

It is recommended to adjust the configuration according to the business requirement.
