Error on requesting recurring absence " You cannot combine a daily recurrence with a full-day absence. Please choose another frequency".

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time off

1. Navigate to employee's Time Off UI
2. Create a half day leave request (say on 14th July for 4 hours)

3. Create another leave starting from the same date 14th July, for 4 hours and recurs daily > Error occurs
   • 

• This is currently a limitation and happens when there is already have an absence requested, and combining the recurring absence duration for the same day becomes a full day.

• As a workaround, create separate daily absences without using the 'recurring absence' checkbox.

NOTE: The error also appears when daily recurring absence is created for full day which is an expected system behaviour. For more details, refer handbook Enabling Recurring Absences
