3783331 - Unable to Delete Custom Service Order Types in the SAP Service Cloud Version 2

Symptom

When accessing the Service Order Types settings within the SAP Service Cloud Version 2, you notice that an option to delete the custom entries is not available.

Environment

SAP Service Cloud Version 2.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Logon to your SAP Service Cloud Version 2 environment.
  2. Click on the User Profile.
  3. Click on System Settings.
  4. Navigate to All Settings.
  5. Click Service Order Types under Service Order settings.
  6. See there is no option to delete the custom types.

Cause

The ability to delete the custom service order types is hidden behind a feature flag.

Resolution

In case this option is required, raise a new SAP support case on the component CEC-CRM-SRVO requesting for the enablement of this feature flag for your SAP Service Cloud Version 2 environments.
