3783333 - BAdI RSM_BADI_CONTEXT_ATTRIB_CALC is not called during Service Entry Sheet flexible workflow - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• The custom agent determination BAdI RSM_BADI_CONTEXT_ATTRIB_CALC is not called during the Service Entry Sheet (SES) flexible workflow.
• Custom responsibility definitions are not considered during workflow agent determination.
• The implemented BAdI RSM_BADI_CONTEXT_ATTRIB_CALC is not invoked.
• The issue occurs although Flexible Workflow is configured and activated.
• No error message is displayed.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Set up and activate Flexible Workflow for SES, Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, and Contracts.
2. Create a Team using the Teams and Responsibilities app with a hierarchical structure and team members.
3. Create additional custom responsibility definitions and assign them to the team category PROC.
4. Create a SES/Purchase Order/Contract document.
5. Check agent determination and observe that expected approvers are not determined; custom responsibility definitions are not considered.
6. Verify that BAdI RSM_BADI_CONTEXT_ATTRIB_CALC is not called during SES workflow processing.

• The BAdI RSM_BADI_CONTEXT_ATTRIB_CALC is currently supported for Purchase Requisition workflows only; it is not enabled for Service Entry Sheet  or Purchase Order workflows, so it is not invoked.
• The SES workflow definition does not use Unified Responsibility Management, therefore the BAdI is not processed for SES agent determination.

2. For Service Entry Sheet workflows, use the supported agent determination options by configuring approvers in the Teams and Responsibilities app using the delivered responsibility rules.
3. If the scenario involves Purchase Requisition workflows, you can implement and use BAdI RSM_BADI_CONTEXT_ATTRIB_CALC, as it is supported for Purchase Requisition flexible workflows.
