3783337 - Using Fiori App Manage Mass Maintenance with table BUT0ID

Unable to update table BUT0ID "Identification" table using Manage Mass Maintenance app.

• SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
• SAP Master Data Governance

1. Open Export Master Data - Business Partners and select scope for Identification numbers (BUT0ID) and export the file.
2. In the file make changes to field Identification type (BUT0ID-TYPE).
3. Upload the file into the App Manage Mass Maintenance.
4. Notice the process completes without error but no changes are saved.

The Manage Mass Maintenance application does not update key fields.

For the BUT0ID table the fields Partner number (BUT0ID-PARTNER), Identification type (BUT0ID-TYPE) and Identification Number (BUT0ID-IDNUMBER) are key fields.

Since the key field values cannot be changed in the Manage Mass Maintenance app you will need to delete the entry and insert the entry with the updated value.
The following assumes you already have the file exported using "Export Master Data - Business Partner"
Note: Perform the below only if you wish to update field Identification type (BUT0ID-TYPE) or Identification number (BUT0ID-IDNUMBER)

1. In the excel file use action code (D) to delete the line entry that you wish to change the value for field Identification type (BUT0ID-TYPE) or Identification number (BUT0ID-IDNUMBER).
2. In the excel file use action code (I) to insert the line record with the updated value for field Identification type (BUT0ID-TYPE) or Identification number (BUT0ID-IDNUMBER).
3. Upload the file in app "Manage Mass Maintenance - Business Partner" and check if the changes are saved properly.
