3783357 - unable to create shipment cost: apportionment factor is negative (vy073) - SAP erp

Symptom

  • Customer is unable to create the shipment cost.
  • Error message: "Apportionment factor is negative" (Message no. VY073).
  • Error message observed as "The distribution factor is negative" during freight cost creation.
  • Creation of the shipment cost document in transaction VI01 stops with the above error.
  • In debugging, MESSAGE e073 relation_factor_negative is raised in function SD_SCD_ITEM_AMOUNTS_DISTRIBUTE.
