Resolution

  1. Configure Object Definitions for the Time Valuation Results object
  2. Make correction and add a new Save rule
  3. Configure rule similar to the provided example, changing parameters to suit your business scenario

  4. This rule rounds a specific time valuation result pay type (DROTS) down to the nearest 15 minutes.
The multiplications are used as time is stored in a decimal value as hours. Multiplying by 4 ensures that whole numbers signify a 15 minute block
This rounded result is then again multiplied by 0.25 resulting in a value stored in hours but rounded
You can adjust the factoring depending on your requirement, for example multiplying by 2/0.5 for the nearest 30 minutes or no multiplication to round to the nearest hour.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This rounding will not be visible in the timesheet UI, only in manage data
