Symptom

The UI rule doesn't work for onboarding custom task Rich Text.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1H 2026

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a custom onboarding task that includes a Yes/No field and a Rich Text element whose visibility is controlled by a UI rule (SHOW when Yes).
  2. In the template editor, test the rule and confirm the Rich Text shows only when the Yes option is selected.
  3. Go to the Onboarding Dashboard and open the same onboarding custom task.
  4. Select Edit Task and navigate to the section with the Yes/No field and the conditional Rich Text.
  5. Observe that the Rich Text is visible by default and does not follow the rule when toggling Yes/No.

Cause

This is a Known Issue.

Resolution

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 2H 2026 release.
