3783520 - Unable to Revoke Access for Console Admin Users in 'Manage Console Integration and External Candidate Authentication' - Recruiting Management

Symptom

  • Unable to remove console admin user through 'Manage Console Integration and External Candidate Authentication > Console Users'.
  • Error: Access cannot be revoked because the user XXX hasn’t created an account in the console.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
  • SAP Customer Data Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Manage Console Integration and External Candidate Authentication > Console Users.
  2. Click the x button to revoke access for a user.
  3. Observe the error: Access cannot be revoked because the user XXX hasn’t created an account in the console.

Cause

A possible cause is that the user’s email in Success Factors(BizX) does not match the one stored in Customer Data Cloud(CDC). This mismatch occurs because the user’s email in BizX contains uppercase letters, whereas CDC currently only supports lowercase. letters.
