3783587 - Automatic reservation creation for self-service procurement purchase requisitions using settings for creation of reservation

Reservation not being automatically created from PR.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Configure the Self-Service Procurement scenario in the “Settings for Creation of Reservation” app so that reservations should be created from purchase requisitions.
2. Create a purchase requisition using the “My Purchase Requisitions” app.
3. Observe that no reservation is created automatically.

The purchase requisition had no accounting line (account assignment set to Unknown), which prevents automatic reservation creation in this scenario.

1. In the “Settings for Creation of Reservation” app, configure the purchase requisition scenario with checking rule 03 and movement type 201 (only movement type 201 is supported for reservations in Self‑Service Procurement).
2. Create the purchase requisition with a valid account assignment category (for example, cost center). Do not use Unknown.
3. Verify the reservation creation and process flow in “My Purchase Requisitions”:

5. 2. Select the item via the “Items” link.
6. 3. In the item, open Status Details and review Document Flow to see the follow-on reservation.
