3783603 - How to Request Enablement of the Usage Metrics Dashboard in SAP Sales Cloud Version 2

Symptom

  • The Usage Metrics option is not available.
  • User activity cannot be monitored.
  • Entity usage statistics are unavailable.
  • Browser and device usage information is unavailable.
  • Product usage metrics cannot be viewed.

Environment

  • SAP Sales Cloud Version 2
  • SAP Service Cloud Version 2
  • SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2

Cause

The Usage Metrics Dashboard is not enabled by default. Feature enablement is required before usage metrics become available.

Resolution

  1. Create an incident under component CEC-CRM-CO-OPS and request enablement of the Usage Metrics Dashboard.
  2. Include the following information in the incident:
    • Tenant ID
    • Tenant URL
  3. SAP will process the enablement request and once the enablement is completed, the Usage Metrics option becomes available under:
    User Menu → System Settings → Usage and Statistics → Usage Metrics
  4. The Usage Metrics Dashboard provides information including:
    • Daily active users
    • Entity usage
    • Browser usage
    • Device usage
    • Product usage
