3783840 - PPX General Settings change not reflected immediately - SAP Employee Profile

After updating Latest People Profile → General Settings → Header Configuration, the Employee Profile continues to display the previous configuration even though the changes were saved successfully.

This is expected behavior due to the caching strategy introduced to improve performance. The General Settings API response is cached on both the client and Akamai CDN (where enabled), so changes are not reflected immediately.

Wait for the cache to expire before expecting the updated configuration to appear. Disabling the browser cache alone will not force a refresh if the response is still served from the Akamai cache.

Additional Information:
The current cache TTL is 15 minutes. The development team is testing the end to end before reducing the TTL to 1 minutes by in case there is a new update on this KBA will be updated.
