Symptom

  • Multiple duplicate candidate records were created because duplicate detection relies solely on the primary email field.
  • Request to include national ID as an additional validation field to prevent duplicates.
  • Need to merge all duplicate candidate profiles.
  • When attempting to update candidateId in job applications via API, the response indicates success but the candidate reference does not change.
