Symptom
When using the Edit Required Dates tool for curricula items, a required date is set for items with a For Credit completion that also have a prior Not For Credit completion.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Reproducing the Issue
- Access Learning Administration >
- Go to Manage Users Learning> Edit Required Dates >
- Select a user and a curricula with an item that the user has a For Credit completion but also has a prior Not For Credit completion >
- Enter the required dates and click on Finish >
- Go to People > Users and search for the user >
- Go to the Curricula tab and select the curricula >
- Click on the three dots and View Details >
- Notice that the Required Date for the completed item was overwritten instead of ignored.
Cause
This was identified as a defect, the system should not allow curricula items that already have a For Credit completion to have the Required Date changed.
Resolution
Our Learning Engineering team has finalized their work on the situation and the fix is targeted to be delivered with the 1H2026 VSaaS Learning system version. Additional details are available in the following link: Product Release & Road Map Information.
