When a user tries to update a field in a grid portlet, the following error may occur: There was an unexpected error. Please try again later or, if the error persists, contact your system administrator.

For example, in the Compensation Information grid portlet, the error may occur when a user tries to update the Amount field while an onView rule is configured to hide the Pay Component field.The issue may occur when updating the field through different available actions, such as Edit, History, or other supported actions for the grid portlet.
