3784455 - How to Hide the Spot Award Program on the Spot Award Workflow Approval Page

A workflow is configured for Spot Awards, and the nominator initiates the workflow. When it reaches the first-level approver, the approver can see all the details in the workflow, similar to the MDF Spot Award, by clicking the card next to the Spot Award Program.

1. Proxy as a manager with a pending Spot Award approval.
2. Open the Spot Award request for approval.
3. On the Spot Award Workflow Approval page, scroll down to the Spot Award Program section.
4. Click the card icon beside Spot Award Program.
5. Notice that the workflow displayed is the same as the MDF Spot Award workflow.

Product Limitation: The primary permission that controls access to the Spot Award Program is also required for nominating and receiving Spot Awards.

The observed behavior is currently expected. The Engineering team has acknowledged this behavior and will consider potential enhancements in a future release. Customers are encouraged to bookmark this KBA for ongoing updates.

In the meantime, to help safeguard sensitive budget information, it is recommended to revoke the SpotAwardBudget permission. This will prevent award approvers from accessing confidential budget data while still allowing them to perform their approval responsibilities.
