3784457 - Unable to view history or edit work order - SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central 1H2026

• Unable to view History or Edit Work Order on the user profile.
• While opening Work Order history, an application error occurs:
  • "An application error occurred. Please try again later, or notify support (with the error information of errorID=..., timestamp=..., and the version information from the current screen) if the issue keeps occurring."
• In Add Contingent Worker (Hire UI) and Edit Work Order via All Actions, only a limited subset of fields is displayed; additional configured fields are not visible.
• When editing via History, all configured Work Order fields display correctly.

1. Navigate to a user profile and open the Work Order portlet.
2. Click History or attempt to Edit Work Order; observe the application error.
3. Start Add Contingent Worker (Hire UI) or choose Edit via All Actions; only a small subset of Work Order fields is shown, while additional configured fields are missing.

This is a Known Issue.

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed via patch, with deployment scheduled for July 30th, 2026.

Workaround

As a quick workaround, please:

1. Delete the existing Configurable UI for the Work Order object.
2. Create a new Configurable UI for the Work Order object.
3. In Configure Object Definitions, set the new screen as the default UI for the Work Order object and save.
4. Run the MDF Object Definition to DB Sync job.
5. This should fix the issue until the permanent solution.
