3784528 - Workbook Permissions removed for some users after the July upgrade

Before the July update, users with just Create & Read permissions for the Add-in Workbook, could create Excel Workbooks, go to Workbook > Preferences & change Workbook Permissions to: All users have designer rights.

This option has been removed after the upgrade.

SAP Analytics Cloud 1.0;

• A user with only Create + Read permissions for the Add-in Workbook login to SAC add-in.
• Click Workbook in the Ribbon.
• -> Preferences.
• He finds that the Workbook Permissions is no longer there.

There is a bug fix in July's upgrade:

- Title: Workbook permissions dropdown should be visible only to DESIGNER in preferences tab
- Detail: This addresses the visibility of the workbook permissions dropdown in the preferences tab. The dropdown is now restricted to users with the DESIGNER role. Previously, it could appear for other roles as well.

The change was due to a bug fix. The current behavior is by design. You can grant the users DESIGNER role.
