Symptom

  • sysadmin dump_queue output shows truncated command text for tables with many columns, even after setting queue_dump_buffer_size to its maximum value of 32768.
  • All truncated ENTRY lines are exactly 5000 characters in the dump output file.
    Example:


ENTRY ver=1100 len=4224 ... comlen=4013
  insert into product_dim_event (exch_id, source_transact_ts, valid_ts,  ..., is_reremic, is_residual_tranche, is_seasoned, is[truncated]
