Professional Service Project is not available in Manage My Timesheet for external service performer

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create a Professional Service Project.
2. Create a Purchase Service Contract for an external resource.
3. Create a Purchase Order from the Purchase Service Contract.
4. Open the Manage My Timesheet application as the external service performer.
5. Observe that the project or work package is not available for time entry.

• The relationship between the Professional Service Project, Purchase Order, and external service performer is incomplete.
• The external resource staffing has not been confirmed in the Professional Service Project.
• The Service Performer is not assigned in the Purchase Order item.
• The Work Package ID is missing or incorrect in the Purchase Order item.
• The Purchase Order references only the WBS element but is not linked to the correct Work Package.
• The service performer does not have a valid Work Agreement or Business User assignment.
• The project or work package is not in a status `In Execution`.

1. Confirm project staffing:

• In Project Control – Professional Service Projects, verify that the external resource has been staffed and confirm the staffing request if applicable.

1. Verify the Purchase Order:

• In the PO item, ensure the Service Performer is assigned, the correct Work Package ID is maintained, the Professional Service Project/WBS element is assigned, and the PO is approved.

1. Verify workforce data:

• Ensure the external service performer has an active Work Agreement and a valid Business User assignment.

1. Test the timesheet:

• Save the maintained data and open Manage My Timesheet again to confirm the project/work package is available for time recording.
