3785433 - No accrual postings after running Post Periodic Accrual for Service Entry Sheet - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Service Entry Sheet is created and submitted for approval. However, when running Post Periodic Accrual, no accrual postings generated.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create Service Entry Sheet following Test Script of Scope Item 22Z
2. Run the job Post Periodic Accruals
3. Observe that no accrual postings is generated.
4. In the app “Display Service Entry Sheet Accruals”, check the accrual object status and see Status F – Prematurely Finished.
5. In the app “Manage Service Entry Sheets”, verify the service entry sheet document status is Approved (30).

Accruals are only calculated for unapproved service entry sheets (document status 20). If a service entry sheet is Approved (status 30), the related accrual object is finalized (Prematurely Finished), and no accrual postings are generated.

1. Review current approval behavior for service entry sheets. By default, if no workflow is defined, service entry sheets are approved automatically upon submission.
2. Configure a workflow for service entry sheet approval so that service entry sheets remain unapproved (document status 20) until explicitly approved.
3. Create or submit the service entry sheet and ensure it stays in unapproved status (20).
4. Run the job Post Periodic Accruals.
5. Verify that accrual postings are generated.
