Upcoming Absence Analytic Card shows incorrect number of direct reports

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Home Page.
  2. Check the Upcoming Absences analytic card, which shows a different number for "Number of direct reports with upcoming absences in the next 30 days."

Resolution

The Upcoming Absences analytic card works based on Role-Based Permission (RBP) visibility, not on the direct reporting hierarchy.

Therefore, the number displayed includes all employees who are visible to the user through their permissions and who have approved absences within the next 30 days.

This is expected behavior and not a defect. Currently, there is no option to restrict the card to direct reports only.
