3785699 - Internal Meetings Are Being Synchronized Using Server Side Integration

An internal meeting was sent to the attendees, however the server side integration synchronized the meeting, even this is an internal meeting and no external attendees from the company were added.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Create an appointment using Outlook.
2. Add the internal attendees from the company.
3. Send the invite.
4. The appointment was synchronized to C4C.

The user had the Event Auto Tracking (Auto Synch Meetings) enabled, also the appointment was not marked as private.

The effective auto-sync filter does not contain an exclusion for internal meetings. The filter allows meetings to be picked up when they are normal, not cancelled, within the configured sync window, not previously excluded from auto-tracking and eligible for link resolution.
Since Auto-sync Meetings was enabled and the event was not private, the item qualified for processing.

Conclusion: The appointments synced because Event Auto Tracking (Auto Synch Meetings) was enabled and the meetings met the configured auto-sync criteria.
The meetings were not blocked by the private-meeting setting because they were marked as normal, not private.
