3785844 - Error "Front-End Service Method: Upload file" popup appears when opening Import Bank Directories app - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

When opening the Import Bank Directories app, one or both of the following behaviors occur:

1. The application displays three loading dots and appears to hang, with no further action possible.
   
2. An Information Dialog popup appears with the following message:
   Error: Front-End Service Method: Upload file "".
   Error while getting file "Z:\":
   The entry requested is of a wrong type (file < - > directory).
   

The user has to click OK to proceed.
