3785891 - Manager in onboarding is overwritten by position defaulting - Onboarding

During the onboarding process, the manager will be automatically updated to reflect the org chart of the position.

1. Open the Onboarding Dashboard.
2. Select a candidate.
3. In New Hire Data Review, change the manager to a different user than the one defaulted from the selected position, then save.
4. Return to the Onboarding Dashboard and confirm the manage shows the manually updated value.
5. Open New Hire Data again or proceed to Manage Pending Hires; observe the manager has reverted to the value defaulted from the position.

Position Management defaulting: the setting “Defaulting of the Manager or the Position on the Hire UI, MSS Job Information, and Job Information History” is set to Yes, which re-defaults the manager from the position on subsequent pages.

In Position Management Settings > Hierarchy Adaptation, set “Defaulting of the Manager or the Position on the Hire UI, MSS Job Information, and Job Information History” to No to prevent automatic re-defaulting from position.
