3785915 - SAP HANA data backup fails after SLES patching with "RPC client handle: Connection refused" using EMC NetWorker

Symptom

An SAP HANA data backup using Backint fails after SUSE Linux Enterprise Server patching.

The following error is displayed:

[447] backup could not be completed
[110507] Backint exited with exit code 2 instead of 0

The Backint output contains the following messages:

RPC client handle: Connection refused
Unable to create the connection with 'portmapper' to host 'localhost'
Unable to get port range from local backup client service
