3786351 - Cannot mass import bank: error 'house bank with bank key does not exist in company code' when using import and export bank accounts app – SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• While attempting to mass upload via the Import and Export Bank Accounts app, the error appears: "House bank with bank key does not exist in company code."
• User attempts to include house banks and bank accounts in the same mass upload.
• User requests whether a supported method exists to mass upload house banks and asks for guidance/documentation.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Import and Export Bank Accounts app.
2. Prepare and upload a file intending to create house banks and bank accounts in bulk.
3. The upload fails with error: "House bank with bank key does not exist in company code."

The Import and Export Bank Accounts app does not create house banks; it requires the house bank–bank key–company code combinations to exist beforehand in Manage Banks - Cash Management.

1. In the Manage Banks - Cash Management app, create each required house bank and assign it to the correct bank key for every relevant company code (create all necessary house bank–company code combinations).
2. Save the house bank records so that the system recognizes the bank key and company code assignments.
3. Open the Import and Export Bank Accounts app and import the bank accounts, referencing the precreated house bank–company code combinations.
4. Confirm: There is currently no standard import program available for mass creation of house banks in the public cloud; house banks must be created manually before importing bank accounts.
